Starting August 1st 2014, the State of Louisiana is allowing Conceal Handgun Permitees to purchase a firearm without further background checks. The ATF Form 4473 will still have to be completed and your permit will have to be valid and present for the purchase.
Louisiana is now offering Lifetime Conceal Carrry Permits
$500 for the ages 21-64 and $250 for the ages 65 and over.
You may also choose to receive the regular 5 year permit.
